The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are international goals that were adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015 aiming for a sustainable and better world by 2030. Consisting of 17 goals and 169 targets, they pledge to “leave no one behind” on earth.
The SDGs are universal, meaning that not only developing countries but also developed countries themselves are to be involved in. Japan is also actively working on them.

SUGIKO Group's Approach to SDGs

The SUGIKO Group has been engaged in the temporary equipment rental business for many years and has continued to face society. Our main business style is “reuse” where we rent out temporary equipment of scaffolding, collect it after the construction is completed, maintain/wash it thoroughly, and then rent it out again. Our temporary equipment that is becoming old and worn out is sold to specialists, melted, and reborn as materials such as aluminum.
When conducting our business, we identify the role of the SUGIKO Group with the common goals of the international community. By doing so, we strive to meet the expectations of society.

Our major initiatives

  • Reuse of temporary equipment
  • Maintenance, cleaning and quality control of temporary equipment to sustain high quality
  • Maximum efficiency achieved with minimum resources

SUGIKO has a system to constantly supply customers with high-quality temporary equipment.
Shattering the notion that reused products are poor in quality, we exercise thorough quality control under our strict rules.
Furthermore, having the awareness that "scaffolding is what our customers put their lives on," we have the strongest mindset to always provide safe and high-quality equipment without fail.
For this reason, we replace our equipment with new one in a shorter use period than other companies, and have old equipment recycled without waste.
SUGIKO aims to be a sustainable company that contributes to society and the environment while supporting economic development.
